HEADY Communications was established on 1 December 2007 by Sue Heady, who has over ten years’ of experience in the world of travel PR and spent almost four years as Director of Communications for The Rocco Forte Collection reporting directly to Sir Rocco Forte, the renowned hotelier, immediately prior to setting up her own business.
Previous PR experience includes two years as Press & Promotions Manager for the Belgian Tourist Office and a year’s maternity cover as the PR & Marketing Manager for Brussels Airlines. Before entering the world of PR, Sue was a lifestyle journalist for many years, focusing primarily on travel, but also writing personality profiles and business pieces on the travel industry. She is also a published author, having written more than ten non-fiction books.
Sue currently lives in the Cotswolds, from where she makes frequent forays back to London, to try and ensure she doesn’t turn into a country bumpkin. When not at her desk, you can find Sue at council meetings – oh yes, indeed, she is a Moreton Town Councillor, walking her dog Henry, running or cycling down country lanes and baking cookies!
