Incentives to bolster ski business

Yesterday, the Ski Club of Great Britain issued a news release proving that the winter sports market is showing resilience despite an overall decline.

According to their report, the rate of decline in the snowsports market has slowed significantly and, although there has been an overall drop of 1.5%, some companies have reported an increase in passengers for the 2011/12 season.

So although the snowsports market remains above one million and thre is a dedicated base of experienced skiers and snowboarders who seem unwilling to forego their winter holiday, there has been a drop in the overall numbers of people skiing overseas.

It is for this reason that the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz is offering ski incentives in the upcoming season – including lower ski pass rates and free ski lessons for kids.  Read all about them here.
