I’m Sue Heady, a former journalist, now working as a travel PR consultant, keen to connect with all travel media, whether writers, bloggers or broadcasters.  Current clients include 4* boutique and luxury hotels in Switzerland, Italy, Russia and here in the UK.

I set up HEADY Communications on 1 December 2007, having spent almost four years as Director of Communications for Rocco Forte Hotels, reporting directly to Sir Rocco Forte, the renowned hotelier.

Previous PR experience includes two years as Press & Promotions Manager for the Belgian Tourist Office and a year’s maternity cover as the PR & Marketing Manager for Brussels Airlines.   In total, I have well over ten years of PR experience, specifically travel related.

Before entering the world of PR, I was a lifestyle journalist for many years, focusing primarily on travel, but also writing personality profiles and business pieces on the travel industry.  I am also a published author, having written more than ten non-fiction books.

I currently live in the Cotswolds, from where I make frequent forays to London, to try and ensure I don’t turn into a country bumpkin.  When not at my desk, I’m at council meetings (yes, really, I’m a Moreton Town Councillor), out walking my mini Schnauzer Henry, hunting down vintage/antiques and baking cookies!

Hey Sue, you’ve used an image on your article about the Kulm Hotel in St.Moritz (kulm_sommer20130019.jpg) and I’m just wondering could you point me in the direction of the owner of the photograph? I’m looking to find an original copy for print material. Thanks so much in advance, Sean.
